Talk Talk - It's My Life

Talk Talk were a popular British rock group that were active from 1981 to 1991. Lyrics: Funny how I find myself in love with you If I could buy my reasoning I'd pay to lose One half won't do I've asked myself How much do you commit yourself? It's my life Don't you forget It's my life It never ends Funny how I blind myself I never knew if I was sometimes played upon Afraid to lose, I'd tell myself what good you do Convince myself It's my life Don't you forget It's my life It never ends I've asked myself How much do you commit yourself? It's my life Don't you forget Caught in the crowd It never ends
Talk Talk - HAPPINESS IS EASY - 1986

Album : The colour of spring Piste : 1 Année : 03.1986 Makes you feel much older Sublime the blind parade It wrecks me how they justify their acts of war They assemble, they pray Take good care of what the priests say After death it's so much fun Little sheep don't let your feet stray Happiness is easy Joy be written on the earth And the sky above Jesus star that shines so bright Gather us in love Guilt upon their shoulders How well the cause evades Infecting your religions, claiming pacts It's easy to shoulder the blame Happiness is easy Try to teach my children To recognise excuse before it acts From love and conviction to pray Happiness is easy *** Paroles & Musique : Mark HOLLIS - Tim FRIESE-GREENE Batterie : Lee HARRIS Percussion : Phil REIS - Morris PERT - Martin DITCHMAN Basse acoustique : Danny THOMPSON Basse électrique : Alan GORRIE Orgue : Steve WINWOOD Piano & Kurzweil : Tim FRIESE-GREENE Guitare : Robbie McINTOSH Vocal & Instrumental : Mark HOLLIS Enfants de l'école de Mademoiselle Speake

"It's My Life" Talk Talk 12" Video remix monjott

Another monjott video remix, with the audio mix being a combination of both the domestic 12" mix and the import 12" mix. This video, perhaps more than any other video remix I have done, exemplified the Rich's experience for the whole of the 15 years I was working as DJ/VJ. Footage from 2 different video versions was used also. FYI: At one point there is video image of "It's my life" being sung but no corresponding audio is heard - I meant to do it that way because everyone dancing would sing it aloud to fill in the 'gap'.

Talk Talk - Today - UK TV 1982 - RARE!

This appearance by Talk Talk was recorded on UK TV in 1982. "Today" was Talk Talk's 3rd single, when they were still in their electropop phase. (This track was produced by Colin Thurston, who also produced Duran Duran's 1st album). Their drummer kicked-ass...reminded me of Keith Moon! A great track, and a great performance!

Talk Talk - Such A Shame (1984)

Talk Talk began as a quartet consisting of Mark Hollis (vocals), Simon Brenner (keyboards), Lee Harris (drums) and Paul Webb (bass). Hollis was the brother of Ed Hollis, manager of Eddie and the Hot Rods, and had started out in a punk band called The Reaction. They were generally associated with the New Wave movement; more specifically, in their early years, they were often compared with Duran Duran, as both bands not only featured a double-barrelled name and a Roxy Music-inspired musical direction, but also a record label (EMI) and producer (Colin Thurston). Talk Talk's first line-up released a self-titled debut EP in 1982 which was quickly expanded into a full-length album entitled The Party's Over. The band charted in the UK Top 40 with the singles "Talk Talk" and "Today", both produced by Thurston (who had also produced hits for Duran Duran and Howard Jones). Brenner left after the 1983 non-LP single "My Foolish Friend", which was produced by frequent Roxy Music collaborator Rhett Davies. At this point, the band added unofficial fourth member Tim Friese-Greene, who became Talk Talk's keyboard player, producer, and Hollis' frequent writing partner. Although a major contributor to the band's studio output, Friese-Greene did not generally play with the band during live shows or appear in publicity material. Talk Talk stopped playing live in 1986. Talk Talk achieved considerable international success in 1984/85 (particularly in continental Europe) with the album It's My ...

Talk Talk - Living in Another World (Live at Montreaux 1986)

Live at Montreux 1986 is a concert video release by the British synth pop band Talk Talk of a concert at 1986 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. The show was part of a tour that started in April 1986 to promote the band's recent album The Colour of Spring, and was to be their only appearance at Montreux, from their last tour. For this tour, the usual trio of Mark Hollis (vocals), Paul Webb (bass), and Lee Harris (drums) was augmented by John Turnbull on guitar, two percussion players, and two keyboard players. As often, de facto fourth band member Tim Friese-Greene did not play on stage with the band. :: Living In Another World :: Better parted I see people crying Truth gets harder There's no sense in lying Help me find a way from this maze I can't help myself When I see tenderness before you left That even breaking up was never meant But only angels look before they thread Living in another world to you Better parted I see people hiding Speech gets harder There's no sense in writing Help me find a way from this maze I'm living in another world to you And I can't help myself did I see tenderness where you saw Hell Did I see angels in the hand I held God only knows what kind of tale you'd tell Living in another world to you

TalkTalk - A Brighter Home for Everyone TV advert

A Brighter Home for Everyone, really does mean everyone. Even the homes within our customers' homes. Every TalkTalk family home has many small homes that live within it - a cuckoo clock, a dolls house, an igloo within a snow globe and so on.... The families that live within these little homes are sad because they want phone, broadband and a brighter home too....Particularly when they see the real family around them enjoying YouTube and Skyping their friends day in day out...Then one day something magical happens..

Talk Talk - Talk Talk 1982

Top quality video recorded from Top Of The Pops 1982. Talk Talk was an English musical group, active from 1981 to 1991. The group had a string of international hit singles including "Today", "Talk Talk", "It's My Life", "Such a Shame", "Dum Dum Girl", "Life's What You Make It" and "Living in Another World". In their later years the band's commercial appeal receded, and their critical reputation increased as they moved from synthpop to a more experimental form. Their last two albums, Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, were highly acclaimed and remain influential to experimental alternative rock genres. Talk Talk began as a quartet consisting of Mark Hollis (vocals), Simon Brenner (keyboards), Lee Harris (drums) and Paul Webb (bass guitar). They were generally associated with the New Romantic movement; more specifically, in their early years, they were often compared with Duran Duran, as both bands not only featured a double-barrelled name and a Roxy Music-inspired musical direction, but also shared the same record label (EMI) and producer (Colin Thurston). Talk Talk's first line-up released a self-titled debut EP in 1982 which was quickly expanded into a full-length album entitled The Party's Over, typical for what Allmusic called a "slavishly derivative, Duran Duran-styled, new romantic synthpop band." The band charted in the UK Top 40 with the singles "Talk Talk" (a remake of the 1977 song "Talk Talk Talk Talk" by The Reaction, released on Beggars Banquet Records ...

Talk Talk - Living in another world (the best version!)

I Talk Talk furono un gruppo inglese post-rock fondato da Mark David Hollis, in attività dal 1981 al 1991. Il gruppo è noto al grande pubblico essenzialmente per i brani It's My Life e Such a Shame, che avevano imperversato nelle radio nel 1984, in pieno periodo New Wave. "Living In Another World" è estratta da "The Colours of Spring", terzo album dei Talk Talk. Realizzato del 1986, è l'album in studio più venduto del gruppo musicale e ha raggiunto la top10 in numerosi stati, incluso il loro paese d'origine. §§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§ Better parted I see people crying Truth gets harder There's no sense in lying Help me find a way from this maze I can't help myself When I see tenderness before you left That even breaking up was never meant But only angels look before they thread Living in another world to you Better parted I see people hiding Speech gets harder There's no sense in writing Help me find a way from this maze I'm living in another world to you And I can't help myself did I see tenderness where you saw Hell Did I see angels in the hand I held God only knows what kind of tale you'd tell Living in another world to you
